Shop Now let the ghost choose you Ghosts of Derby invites you to take part in our eerily exciting competition that aims to find the best, the worst and the coolest ghosts! How will we do that ? Simple, just use your spooky imagination and create a ghost story along with a ghostly design. When your masterpiece is complete simply fill out our entry form and upload your creepy creation. We will be running the competition until the end of this year. We will choose 3 best entries to go in the final and the winner will get their very own certificate granting the title of "Ghost Detective of the year". In addition to this, we at Ghosts of Derby will create a ghost figurine based on your story and design, which will become a permanent product in our online store. Of course you will get the first figurine of the series for free and a big shout out on our social media and in the product description. Free creative competition for ghost lovers. Create a ghost design and a story for it and enter the competition "The Ghost Files" - Competition Rules and Conditions INTRODUCTION By participating in this competition you are agreeing to these competition rules and conditions. The competition is being run by Ghosts of Derby LTD and is called "The Ghosts Files". ELIGIBILITY & CONDITIONS TO ENTER To enter the competition you have to be at least 18 years old and have a permanent United Kingdom address and phone number. The entry is made by completing the entry form that can be found on the home page of this site by clicking the JOIN button in the competition description section. There is a limit of one entry per person and there is no charge to participate. By submitting your entry you are confirming that all the data provided in the entry form is true. You might have to accept the Cookies Policy in order to be able to enter. COMPETITION RULES The submitted file has to contain original, non-published work that does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third parties. By entering Ghosts of Derby's campaign, named "The Ghosts Files" you are granting Ghosts of Derby LTD irrevocable copyright licence to use your artwork on promotional materials, social media and online store products (ghost figurines). You acknowledge that your artwork may be modified slightly for practical uses (adaptation to a ghost figurine) and promotional purposes. The file that will be uploaded must be a document or a image (.pdf , .png , .jpeg , .docx ) not larger than 5 mb. The image will be split in 2 , one half for the ghost figurine design and description of its features ; the second part for the text containing the ghost story. The story must not exceed 250 words and has to be a concise original creation. The image shown is an example of the expected format . You will be able to enter the competition on the 18th of October 2025 until 18th of December 2025. On the 21st of December we will announce the 3 creations that will go to the final. The winner will be chosen considering the popularity, originality and creative skills on the 30th of December 2025. THE PRIZE The winner will receive the "Ghost Detective of the Year" certificate. Their ghost figurine design and story will be turned in to a Ghost of Derby product. The winner will also receive the first figurine of the newly created series for free (delivered to the address provided in the entry form as soon as it's manufactured). The winner will be contacted by phone or email, failure to respond to the message or to the call in 5 business days will grant Ghosts of Derby permission to forfeit the right to the prize and name another winner. Be aware of scams ! Ghosts of Derby will not ask you for any money or services, this is a free competition!
