Dracula

With Ghosts of Derby having close family connections to both Transylvania and Whitby this was one ghostly figurine we simply couldn’t resist and have integrated the roots from all three locations into each and every Dracula that we have made.
The tale of Dracula tells the story of the world’s most famous vampire making his way from Transylvania over to Whitby and that’s exactly what our ghosties have done too!
And with Derby being where the stage show adaptation of Dracula made its first ever debut 100 years ago this really has been a project that Ghosts of Derby are extremely proud to have worked so hard to bring to life.
These ghostly figurines are hand made in the atmospheric setting of the infamous Bram Stokers ‘Dracula’ in Transylvania and, in the true style of Dracula himself and his story, the figurines then made their way here to both Whitby and Derby to be individually hand painted and ready to haunt their new homes.
If you are as interested in the local history of Dracula as we are then we highly recommend checking out ‘Derby Dracula’ @derbydracula which is a local project working super hard to connect the city of Derby to Dracula.
