This mournful apparition has been seen by many rocking back and forth by one of the grand old castle windows of Elvaston Castle as though sitting in a rocking chair looking out on the castle grounds.
The identity of The Grey Lady remains unknown to this day but the creaks of the rocking chair will be heard for evermore……
